Coimbatore: A three-member gang waylaid a Tasmac shop supervisor at Ponnaiyagoundenpudur on Karuvallur Road and robbed him of Rs 2.88 lakh on Thursday night time.

When they reached Kesavan Nagar, a three-member gang waylaid the duo. The robbers assaulted them, forced them to ground and took away the money from the vehicle,"a police officer mentioned.
Police rushed to the spot and held inquiry with the duo. Annur police have registered a case and further investigation is on.TNN
