For the citizens and commuters around the metro line, who have post with years of traffic woes brought about through its development, catching a glimpse of the path runs of the metro finally, is like an icing on the cake. As the metro trials have been operating in complete swing prior to the launch day, it's been a satisfaction for the onlookers to look the lit up carriages, swishing previous across Hyderabad's skyline.
A day prior to the launch, we spotted a little bit one craning up her neck to catch a glad sight of the metro at Miyapur. Pointing at the zooming metro line, she clapped her fingers, bursting into giggles. Her mother stated, "We came out to shop after a long time and saw this. She's been doing this every time the train passes by."
The identical excitement was shared through other folks in Begumpet, who were not sure whether the metro will make it to their position, bearing in mind the safety approvals. "I saw a bike rider who was busy on his phone throughout, until the metro's horn blared and tore through the silence. none of us could take our eyes off it. It's a beauty especially when the lights from the shops go off," stated D Pradeep, a cabbie.
So people, benefit from the sight whilst the novelty lasts. Once this too blends into the mundanity of city lifestyles we can return to cribbing.
