COIMBATORE: The city police on Sunday arrested a seven-member gang from Mumbai, Bengaluru and Sathyamangalam, who have been taken with kidnapping of four school scholars and an electrician on November 18. According to the police, Syed Ahamed, 21, from Kuniyamuthur, Mohammed Sarjun, 20, Arunpandian, 18, Abilash, 20, all school scholars, and Nishanth, 19, an electrician, went to Kuniyamuthur to have fun their good friend Kalaimani's birthday on November 17 night. More than 10 friends of Kalaimani additionally participated in the birthday celebrations.
