Student wearing jeans face school managers wrath in Kanpur Dehat

KANPUR: A category XI student suffered deep cuts on each thighs after a school supervisor allegedly used a scissor to cut off his denims as punishment for now not wearing college uniform. The incident passed off at a local inter faculty below the boundaries of Sikandara police station in Kanpur Dehat district. The folks of the boy lodged a grievance at Sikandara police station of the district following which police registered an FIR below more than a few sections of IPC against the executive of the inter faculty located at Mughal highway.

The police said that following a grievance an FIR against faculty supervisor Mahendra Katiyar below more than a few sections of IPC (Indian Penal Code) has been lodged. "Further investigations are underway, no arrest has yet been made," the police added.

The incident took place on Thursday afternoon at the premises of Dr Ambedkar Inter faculty located at Mughal highway area of the district when one Anuj Kumar son of Vinod Pal, and a resident of Shastrinagar area of the district had gone to attend his classes.

"The boy -Anuj is a class XI student and was wearing jeans on the day the incident occurred. He suffered deep cuts on both thighs when school manager Mahendra Katiyar allegedly used a scissor to cut off his jeans as punishment for not wearing college uniform," said station space officer Sikandara Surendra Singh.

"Following a complaint, we have booked the manager under sections 324 (Voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) and 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of Indian Penal Code after launching an investigation in this regard, no arrest however has been made," said SHO additional.


The student additionally claimed that the executive threatened him to not inform someone and vanished from the scene instantly after the incident. The boy, who was once bleeding profusely thereafter reached house and narrated his ordeal to his folks.


They later went to the Sikandara police station and filed a grievance against the executive.


Students father Vinod Pal, said, "The college supervisor did not pay heed to his shilds plea and cut off his denims using a scissor consequently he suffered deep wounds.


The supervisor should have restricted him from attending classes or despatched him back house if he was once now not wearing college uniform, but now not indulged in such more or less barbaric act, Pal, added additional.
