GURUGRAM: Extensive site visitors preparations were made within the city fight snarls this weekend. Around three,500 law enforcement officials were deployed across Gurugram starting Friday night time. The postings will proceed until the early hours of Monday, i.e. until new 12 months. Besides this, there shall be 5 fireplace tenders, 2 cranes and a couple of ambulances shall be stationed at IFFCO Chowk, Bristol Chowk, sector 29 market and South City. Counter assault teams including bomb disposal squads, anti-sabotage check staff, rider duty and PCR vans too shall be on patrolling duties.
Also, MG Road shall be a no driving zone from 6pm on Sunday (Dec 31) until Monday morning (Jan 1). "There will be no entry on the road from IFFCO Chowk, Hotel Westin, Bristol Chowk and Sikanderpur side. Only the residents with valid car stickers will be allowed," mentioned DCP (Traffic) Deepak Gahlawat.
Also, to curb drunken driving, Gurygram police has partnered with a cab based aggregator. These cabs shall be allotted devoted parking a lot in Cyber Hub, Sector 29 Market and MG Road, from the place the commuters shall be allowed to board a cab. Cops will make sure that none of the drivers are drunk. They will raise alco sensors and can check those existing the birthday party hubs.
