BHUBANESWAR: The BJB Autonomous College, one of the best faculties of the state, will publish a suggestion to the state government to lend a hand it run common postgraduate lessons.
Now the college is offering 8 PG lessons within the self-financing mode. Three instructional trusts are working seven PG lessons in public-private partnership (PPP) mode, whilst the college provides Masters in Social Work.
But the college has no common PG lessons. "We will give a proposal to the higher education department to set up seven PG departments in the college. I will also raise the issue at our College Academic Council meeting to be held on January 29," stated Prasanna Mohanty, principal of the college.
He stated they're going to request the federal government to lend a hand the college arrange two PG lessons, physics and chemistry, from the science circulate and 5 lessons - English, Odia, economics, political science and MA in schooling in humanities.
If the college will get the common PG departments, authentic resources stated, the federal government will sanction budget for it adore it does for universities. It may also create permanent school posts and different infrastructure for the departments. It will lend a hand the college to get unitary university status, stated the resources.
Lagnajit Patra, 2nd yr student of MAJMC (self-financing route) of the college, stated the common department will likely be very helpful for college kids.
