NEW DELHI: Make in India 2.zero will accord renewed focus on ten champion sectors, including capital goods, auto, defence, pharma and renewable energy to push expansion in manufacturing and generate activity alternatives, the Economic Survey stated these days.
The government has identified those sectors which have the possible to become international champions and pressure double-digit expansion in manufacturing, the survey stated.

The other sectors are biotechnology, chemical compounds, digital machine design and manufacturing, leather, textiles, food processing, gem stones & jewellery, development, shipping and railways.
"The sectors have been identified for renewed focus under the Make in India version 2.0," it added.
The 'Make in India' programme used to be launched on September 25, 2014 with an purpose to make India a world hub for manufacturing, research and innovation and integral part of the global supply chain.
