BHUBANESWAR: Prohibitionists from around the country joined in a countrywide conference right here on Monday and passed a answer to make liquor-free India. They will urge Prime Minister and leader ministers of the rustic to ban sale, manufacturing and consumption of liquor in India.
The conference used to be attended by means of activists from 21 states. All of them discussed about their stories of anti-liquor motion and appealed the prohibitionists to take in the motion unitedly in nationwide level.
Padma Charan Nayak, convener of the nationwide conference, said his buddies and employees have began an anti-liquor motion in Odisha all the way through last 5 years. "We want to bring all the anti-liquor activists to a single forum to fight in the national level. So we have passed a resolution to protest the sale and manufacturing of liquor in the country," he added.
He said they'll intensify their anti-liquor movements in different parts of the rustic. "We will request Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief ministers of the states to consider their demands to ban liquor as soon as possible," he added.
