Teachers day celebrated at Manipal

MANIPUR: Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, celebrated Teacher's Day on Tuesday. Many academics, both provide and former, have been honoured on the instance. Brigadier SS Pabla, former director, MIT was also felicitated. Dr H S Ballal, pro chancellor, stated, "As teachers we should work like role models and set examples for students to follow". G Okay Prabhu, director MIT and pro vice chancellor, Manipal University, stated "Today a large number of engineering colleges in the country are finding it difficult to fill the seats, but MIT is an exception to this."
