Awareness programme on road safety held

Hubballi: Urging other people to wear helmets with ISI marks, Dr Kranti Kiran, chairman, Shri Balaji Institute of Neuro Sciences and Trauma, said that the brain is one of the essential and gentle portions of the frame and everybody must care for their brain.

He was speaking at an consciousness programme on road accidents and significance of dressed in helmet while riding two-wheelers and seat belts in automobiles here on Saturday.


Dr Kiran said that it is unfortunate that regardless of a number of measures by police, many people aren't dressed in helmet while riding. He noted that most people who're killed in accidents are in the 25-30 age group.


Later, college students pledged to wear helmets and seat belts in the presence of Gurusiddha Rajayogendra Swami of Moorusavira Mutt. Dr Shobha Krantikiran and Col A B Natu had been present at the occasion.
