Dharwad: Police have nabbed a jewel thief, who was once dealing with over a dozen instances. They also recovered gold and silver embellishes price Rs 6.75 lakh from Imtiyaaz Yargatti, a resident of Kaddi Oni in Dharwad. He was once wanted in numerous theft instances and a manhunt have been introduced to nab him.
Police commissioner M N Nagaraj mentioned that they have got confiscated gold embellishes weighing 181gm, 1 kg silver and one LED TV.
In September last yr, Imtiyaaz broke windowpanes of a space belonging to Kadappa Patil at Saraswathpur and decamped with 14gm gold, 250gm silver and a few money. A case was once registered and a special team was once shaped to nab Imtiyaaz.
