Coimbatore: After a few months, don’t be surprised to look boards with Thirukkural couplets as a substitute of advertisements on DB Road at RS Puram. The Coimbatore city municipal company is planning to revamp the street with a theme - Thirukkural.

She added that couplets of Thirukkural along with its explanation could be displayed at frequent periods on the street. The civic authorities are figuring out the number of couplets and other aesthetic parts that can cross with Thirukkural on the boards.
Along with the boards, the company is also planning to provide sitting house with furniture for commuters, said an legit from the company. “The entire street could be designed in one of these technique to harvest rainwater,” the assets added.
