Happy faces after CBSE first paper

Guwahati: CBSE assessments commenced across the northeast on Monday as cheerful Class XII board examinees returned contended after taking their English paper at the first day of the check. The majority of the students felt the paper used to be higher than different years. "The first paper (English) was easy and very much from within the syllabus. Everything was systematic and even mediocre students should have no problem in answering it," said a board examinee on the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Borjhar. Teachers said many of the questions have been according to texts and easy to respond to.

"It was nice to see the smiling faces of students," said Areef Ahmed, quality assurance supervisor at Miles Bronson Residential School within the town. The Class X and XII board assessments are being held in 329 exam centres below CBSE's Guwahati zone that quilt the 8 northeastern states, together with Sikkim.

Sources in CBSE said the primary day of the exam handed off easily. In each the Class X and XII assessments, altogether 1.14 lakh candidates are registered to appear from the Guwahati zone. For the benefit of scholars with special needs, the board has allowed the usage of computer or laptops in each Class X and XII board assessments this yr.
