‘I’ve asked God to punish the corrupt’

BENGALURU: Tejraj Sharma, in July 2017, wrote to the deputy director, public instruction, Tumakuru, saying he had written a letter to God, asking for the almighty to punish corrupt executive officials.

Sharma had evolved variations with officials of public instruction division, Tumakuru, after a chair he sold them broke on the very first day. “The personnel asked him to switch it,” investigating officers mentioned. “Sharma mentioned he'll achieve this provided that they help him bag a young for 15 chairs and tables via the department. The personnel refused and Sharma filed a criticism towards them with the Lokayukta.”


Sharma was on Thursday remanded via a neighborhood court to five days in police custody. Later, he was taken to his area in SS Puram, Tumakuru for investigation. “His single-room rented area is stuffed with books, mostly non secular ones,” police mentioned. “Otherwise, the home is in an entire mess. Clothes, utensils are scattered in every single place. His neighbours mentioned Sharma is short tempered via nature and therefore have shyed away from him.”


Through the adventure, Sharma quoted from the Bhagavad Gita. “The curse of the wronged ones will hit offenders. I'm dejected via the tactics of presidency officials. They will reap what they sow. Karma will educate them a lesson,” police quoted Sharma as saying.


A crowd amassed in entrance of Sharma’s area in Tumakuru. Clad in a T- blouse, his face covered with a towel, he chose to forget about them once they known as out his title.
