Schools, colleges shut in Srinagar after 3 terrorists killed in J&K

SRINAGAR: Following the killing of three terrorists previous on the day, restrictions were imposed in portions of Srinagar on Monday to care for legislation and order, police said.

The militants including one from Srinagar were killed in a gunbattle with the protection forces in Anantnag district.

Expecting protests, the authorities imposed restrictions in areas underneath the jurisdictions of Soura and four different police station areas, the police said.

All colleges and schools may also remain close as a precautionary message. Exams scheduled for Monday via the Kashmir University were postponed.

The militants were identified as Eesa Fazli of Srinagar, Syed Owais and Sabzar Ahmad Sofi, each from Anantnag district, in keeping with agency reviews.


Before joining the terrorist ranks, Fazli was pursuing a B.Tech direction in Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University in Rajouri district.
