CHENNAI: A 33-year-old sub-inspector of police killed himself with a carrier revolver in entrance of at least 4 of his colleagues, evading their attempts to prevent him by threatening them with the weapon sooner than capturing himself within the head, in Ayanavaram police station early on Wednesday.
R Sathish Kumar fired a unmarried spherical from the 9mm pistol at 1.45am close to the doorway of the police station on Konnur High Road, a senior police officer stated. The bullet pierced his cranium simply above his proper ear, killing him instantaneously.
