HYDERABAD: Showering more than a few sops on the toddy tappers, chief minister Ok Chandrasekhar Rao has introduced waiver of tax on palm timber and enhancement of pension from Rs 200 to Rs 1,000 a month.
Chandrasekhar Rao stated it was made up our minds to extend the licence renewal of the societies from present five years to 10 years. He also introduced five acres land and Rs 5 crore for Gouda Bhavan in Hyderabad.
Making a statement in the state meeting on Thursday, the manager minister stated to this point only individuals of toddy tappers co-operative societies have been getting pension.
