GANDHINAGAR: Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Monday went on an unscheduled visit to New Delhi which fueled speculations in the political circles. There had been speculations that Rupani was called via the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for some political issues.
When contacted CM informed the Times of India that, “I went to Delhi to satisfy Union railway minister Piyush Goyal to discuss pending issues of Gujarat. I checked with the PM office for his time but he was occupied so may just now not meet him.’’
“I mentioned key tasks like bullet teach, devoted freight corridor, metro rail, construction of Gandhinagar railway station resort and different pending issues related to railway,” he added.
