Cops rescue 16-year-old girl from Port Blair

CHENNAI: A 16-year-old woman, who went missing in Port Blair two months in the past, used to be rescued by way of the police here on Friday.
The woman hailing from Port Blair used to be found roaming at the streets of Tambaram. She used to be passed over to the child helpline at Tambaram.

The woman instructed the police that she reached Chennai with the help of a chum, but he disappeared. The Port Blair police instructed town police that the girl were missing for 2 months.

The woman landed in Chennai along with her buddy and stayed at a house in Ambattur, the place her buddy used to be employed in a personal corporate on the Ambattur industrial estate.


Her buddy took her out to the Marina Beach and a mall here sooner than visiting the Vandalur Zoo.


The police mentioned the girl used to be crying repeatedly and may no longer explain things clearly.


The kid helpline officials counselled her and stored her at a government home. They also knowledgeable her folks about her presence here. The woman might be despatched to Port Blair after producing her sooner than the child welfare committee officials.
