TIRUPATI: Former prime minister and JD (S) leader HD Deve Gowda offered prayers on the well-known hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara on his birthday on Friday.
The veteran leader, who turned 85, arrived in Tirupati on Thursday night along with his family members, temple assets stated.
Deve Gowda left for Bengaluru immediately after providing prayers, they added.
The Congress-JD(S) combine are locked in a power fight with the BJP in Karnataka.
