CHANDIGARH: The officiating chairman of the 15th Finance Commission, Ashok Lahiri, on Friday lauded the Saksham Yuva Scheme of Haryana, and elaborated upon the schemes picked via the Central govt from Haryana. Lahiri was addressing mediapersons after maintaining a number of conferences with Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, finance minister Captain Abhimanyu, and senior officers of the state govt.
Haryana is the first state within the nation to prepare a vision document of sustainable objectives with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He mentioned the state govt was completely focussed on attaining its goals. Several suggestions have been given to prepare district-specific schemes, holding in view other requirements of the districts.
