Flyover repair work: Huge jam in Lajpat Nagar

NEW DELHI: Capital's busy Lajpat Nagar witnessed heavy visitors on Tuesday morning all the way through the frenzy hour owing to the restore paintings at the flyover towards Ashram.

Traffic movement will remain closed on Ring Road till May 30 in the carriageway from Moolchand towards Ashram Chowk because of ongoing repairing paintings at the flyover through the Public Works Department (PWD).

Delhi visitors police has prompt the commuters to keep away from the stretch.

The PWD is also assessing the condition of all outdated flyovers (constructed in the 90s and early 2000) in the city. There are 86 flyovers on PWD roads, of which 11 have been constructed in the 80s and 90s, while 13 have been constructed in 2001 and '02.
