Four rowdies banished from Mysuru ahead of polls

MYSURU: Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar, district election officer, on Tuesday has banished 4 rowdy parts from Mysuru forward of May 12 polls. They’re no longer supposed to go into Mysuru until May 14.
All 4 individuals – Syed Kaleem and Ippsur Rehaman, both residents of Hunsur and Harish and Girish of Nanjangud – have been directed to report back to other police stations in 4 northern districts of Karnataka. They need to mark their attendance each day at respective police stations in respective districts until such length mentioned through the DC.


Syed has been banished to Bidar, Ippsur to Vijayapura, Harish to Yadgir and Girish to Kalaburgi.


They’re no longer supposed to go into the district until May 13 midnight, consistent with the order.


The DC has directed police to do so towards them in case they go back before the time. The order was passed in keeping with the recommendation through Hunsur and Nanjangud police to stay peace during the elections.


Meanwhile, government have threatened to take stricter motion towards the ones all for unlawful actions like cricket having a bet, gambling in public puts, the sale of gear including communal violence.
