LUDHIANA: In a shift from the standard business association politics going on in Ludhiana for years, 3 leading sewing system business associations — Ludhiana Sewing Machine Industries Association (LSMIA), Sewing Machine Development Club (SMDC), and Sewing Machine Dealers and Assemblers Association (SMDA) — have joined arms to shape a common platform to counter the problems being faced by the business. Leaving aside all variations, the office-bearers and participants of those associations additionally held a meeting on Saturday night time to make a decision the following course of action.
Giving more information, LSMIA president Amarjit Singh mentioned: “What can be higher than the entire associations becoming a member of forces to take on issues like rising prices of steel, behind schedule GST refunds, and non-availability of era upgradation schemes for our business. We have organized one meeting wherein the presidents of all 3 associations have been provide, and everyone decided to paintings for the advance and betterment of the stitching system business at the whole.”
SMDC president Jagbir Sokhi mentioned: “I'm grateful to heads of the entire associations for his or her cooperation and agreeing to this idea for the welfare of the stitching system business. We have already got to work within the direction of figuring out primary issues being faced by our business.” According to LSMIA finance secretary Jatinder Nagpal: “It is a brilliant day for the stitching system business, when investors and manufacturers of stitching machines and parts have come in combination on one common platform.
