AHMEDABAD: Nearly 2.5 lakh state board scholars flunked class 10 maths examination this year. Ironically, scrutiny of the consequences show that several lecturers too have failed miserably in basic maths when it came to totalling of marks!
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has identified no less than 40,000 mistakes in totalling made by way of lecturers assessing class 10 examination papers.
