Light rain lashes several parts of Delhi

NEW DELHI: Delhiites witnessed a pleasing night on Wednesday after gentle rain lashed several portions of town in conjunction with gusty winds at 35/36 km according to hour, the MeT Department mentioned.
The Safdarjung observatory, recording of which is considered the reputable figure for town, received zero.8 mm rainfall while spaces beneath Palam and Ridge recorded 3.2 mm and 1.6 mm rain respectively.

Lodhi Road and Aya Nagar recorded strains of rainfall, the MeT Department mentioned.

The maximum temperature settled at 35.8 levels Celsius, three notches under the season's reasonable while the minimal used to be recorded at 22.4 levels Celsius, two notches under the standard.


The humidity oscillated between 71 and 35 according to cent.


The Met place of job has forecast overcast skies for Thursday.


"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 38 and 23 degrees Celsius respectively," the weatherman mentioned.


On Tuesday, the maximum temperature used to be recorded at 34.7 levels Celsius, while the minimal stood at 22 levels Celsius.
