SAKHARAYAPATNA (CHIKKAMAGALURU): Election flying squad officers stopped two “pilgrimage” buses close to Sakharayapatna the town on Monday and were given 120 “sponsored” devotees to go back home.
Official resources mentioned the passengers within the buses, one among them KSRTC, mentioned their shuttle was paid for and they had been being taken to temples in Dakshina Kannada. Most of them had been from Kethamaranahalli and Gollarahatti villages of Kadur taluk. The squad directed KSRTC body of workers to refund the price tag amount and allowed the buses to head after offloading the ‘devotees’.
