GURUGRAM: Muslim employees of Fidelity International, Genpact, Aricent and Evalueserve stated they read namaz under “peculiar” police protection in the park opposite Candor Techspace in Sector 48 on Friday as right-wing activists disrupted prayers at a number of puts in the town.
Several employees stated that this was going down for the first time. “I've been residing in Gurugram town for a few years,” stated Naved. “We pray at the similar position every Friday but lately, there was heavy police presence.”

Employees informed TOI that there were six cops, together with a lady constable, at the park. “They have been all from Sadar police station,” stated Aamir. “We pray right here every Friday. We pool in cash in order that water for obligatory ablution and mats may also be organized right here. Some cash may be paid to the cleric who leads the congregation.”


Employees stated that once their prayers ended, they won texts that prayers at Unitech Cyber Park were disrupted. “No disruption happened right here but some of our pals praying near Unitech Cyber Park messaged, pronouncing they have been facing disruptions to the purpose that they had to abandon prayers halfway,” stated Aabid.


Tanveer Alam, some other employee, stated, “Freedom of faith is a fundamental appropriate enshrined in our Constitution. The land where we pray is Huda land. We weren’t encroaching on any individual’s area.”


Naved stated they have been seeing a pattern in such disruptions which have been expanding forward of the polls. “I will be able to see a link between what's lately going down in AMU, and right here,” he added.
