Rampal, 2 others acquitted in 2006 land fraud case

ROHTAK: A Rohtak court docket on Tuesday acquitted controversial godman Rampal and his two followers in a land fraud case.
The court docket of extra chief judicial Justice of the Peace (ACJM) Harish Goyal acquitted Rampal and his followers Rajender and Ravinder Dhaka in the case registered in 2006 whilst preserving land shareholders Rubina, Rajender and Krishna responsible for forgery and fraud.


A case was registered on the grievance of a woman, Kamla, who had accused the Rampal’s consider Bandhi Chhod Bhakti Mukti Trust of fraudulently grabbing three.5 acres of her land.


Rampal’s recommend Abhishek Chaudhary mentioned the court docket discovered that the complainant Kamla had first bought the land to the consider and later lodged a false grievance against his purchasers for ulterior motives.


Hearing the case for the previous 12 years, the pass judgement on held 3 of the land shareholders, associated with complainant Kamla, who dedicated forgery whilst promoting land to Rampal’s consider, responsible. The quantum of punishment can be announced on May 7.


Rampal is lately lodged in Hisar jail after being arrested for sedition and different severe offences throughout the violence in his ashram at Barwala near Adampur in Hisar district in November 2014.
