GURUGRAM: Friday prayers have been stopped in several portions of Gurugram through Hindutva outfits that went across the town shouting slogans like 'Jai Shri Ram' and 'Bangladeshi wapas jao' and disrupted congregations at several puts.
Unprecedented scenes of folks providing namaz getting up halfway and working away in the face of slogan-shouting have been witnessed in busy areas like Iffco Chowk, Udyog Vihar, Leisure Valley Park and Mall Mile on MG Road. At a park reverse Candor Techspace, a group of company executives prayed amid heavy safety cover.
What happened on Friday have been build up for a month. On April 6, a group of men from Wazirabad village antagonistic prayers at a ground in Sector 43 and threatened the congregation.
