CHENNAI: A 28-year-old constable committed suicide in his space in Injambakkam early on Monday, the police said. The circle of relatives claimed that work power coupled with mounting money owed ended in the constable opting for the extraordinary step.
V Balamurugan, who joined the department in 2013 after a stint at an IT company, was posted at the Ashok Nagar Police Training College. He is survived via his father Vijayan, 64, and his mom.
The circle of relatives said Balamurugan gave the impression depressed the previous week however persevered together with his work. A friend who remaining spoke to him on Sunday said he did not whinge about any issues although he did not sound satisfied. “His father had requested him to renounce remaining month as he did not have time to spend together with his circle of relatives,” a relative said.
Vijayan complained that his son was suffering beneath work power.
The police despatched the frame for postmortem to Royapettah Government Hospital.
