HYDERABAD: A 13-year-old woman used to be raped via an 18-year-old watchman in a cinema theatre at Borabanda on Tuesday morning.
At around 7am, the girl got here to Vijeta Cinema Hall to fetch water for day by day use. Prasad, watchman on the theatre, noticed the girl on my own inside the cinema corridor premises. Taking advantage of the location, he dragged her into the bathroom.
Later, he gagged the girl using a fabric and committed the crime, police mentioned. After the sexual assault, Prasad threatened her with dire consequences if she talked concerning the incident to anyone and let her pass. After attaining her space, the sufferer narrated the ordeal to her oldsters . The oldsters, who are day by day wage labourers, lodged a complaint with the Sanathnagar police. The sufferer works as a rag-picker.
Police despatched the sufferer to the government health center for medical exam, while the perpetrator has been taken into custody. Based on her complaint, a case used to be registered underneath Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code(IPC) and POCSO Act.
