MANGALURU: A drunken brawl ended in a 75-year-old man killing his son-in-law in Baditutte, Bantwal taluk, on Saturday.
Police arrested the accused Mutthu Poojary who murdered Rajaram, 50, via the use of a chisel. Rajaram, a native of Mudigere in Chikkamagaluru district, was once staying in his better half's father’s space. The two labored as carpenters and were addicted to alcohol. There was once widespread quarrel between the 2 in drunk state.
The duo were given under the influence of alcohol on Saturday morning and began quarrelling when other members of the family were away. In the are compatible of rage, Mutthu attacked Rajaram.
