AHMEDABAD: A 29-year-old youth on a motorbike used to be mowed down by a bus of Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) near helmet circle in Memnagar house of the city on Monday.
The street has got narrowed because of the continued building paintings for the metro teach challenge here, yet the bus driver reportedly attempted to overhaul the youth on the bike, resources stated.
The FIR registered by Gujarat University police on Tuesday known the deceased as Pavan Prajapati, an government with a private company and a resident of Khadia.
“The accident happened on Monday morning when Pavan used to be driving against Memnagar from Vijay Crossroads. A bus hit him from in the back of causing him serious accidents in fingers, legs and head. The accident happened in entrance of a petrol pump the place barricades have been placed in view of the continued metro rail building paintings,” the FIR filed by deceased’s brother Sunny Prajapati stated.
Prajapati used to be shifted to Sola Civil Hospital but he breathed his ultimate there on Monday night time.
When contacted, Sunny stated his brother had set to work after completing his BCom. “According to onlookers on the petrol pump, the bus driver had attempted to overhaul my brother and in the process rammed into his bike. My brother fell down and used to be subconscious. We got a decision from a relative pronouncing that Pavan used to be hospitalized after an accident. We discovered him subconscious and later he died during treatment,” Sunny added.
Gujarat University police booked the bus driver on the charges of culpable murder and rash driving and also under Motor Vehicles Act. Police have accumulated CCTV photos of the accident as a proof in the case.
