CM inaugurates Police Public Residential School

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu leader minister Edappadi K Palaniswami inaugurated Police Public Residential School right through a function on the Secretariat right here on Wednesday.

The faculty is ready up quickly at the Tamil Nadu Police Academy (TNPA) premises at Oonamancherry near Vandalur. Later, it's going to be shifted to a 10-acre campus at Melakottaiyur after construction of buildings at a value of Rs51.14 crore.


Palaniswami handed over switch orders to a headmistress and five teachers and gave admission enrollment orders to 5 scholars out of the 50 scholars.


The English medium faculty following the state board syllabus can have classes from I to V at first.


A police officer said, “While enrolling the students, we can give priority to the wards of police staff. We will admit native scholars, as well.”
