GURUGRAM: Several citizens’ groups in Sushant Lok and DLF have appealed to the federal government to check unauthorised buildings that experience mushroomed unexpectedly of their spaces, which continuously trigger energy and water crises.

This comes after the dep. of the town of the town and nation making plans (DTCP) cancelled the occupation certificate (OCs) of 20 homes in Suncity Township for taking on further house in violation of building norms.

Residents advised TOI that the DTCP used to be yet to do so in opposition to unauthorised buildings of their spaces.

“In DLF, DTCP comes beneath force from builders and permits multi-storey towers. It allows builders to take up extra construction area than sanctioned.
