CHENNAI: Five other people had been injured after a fireplace broke out on the flooring floor of a three-storeyed commercial complicated close to Ashok Pillar in Ashok Nagar on Saturday. Though there have been no casualty, the fire which broke out at 2pm created panic in the bustling neighbourhood.
At least 50 other people had been inside the building when hearth broke out. The hearth and rescue carrier workforce and bystanders rescued five other people and rushed them to the hospital after they fainted breathing in the smoke. Ladders had been used to rescue other people from 2d and primary floor. The building has retail outlets in the flooring floor and workplaces on two flooring.
A 35-year-old guy, who runs an promoting agency, had a miraculous get away after he jumped from 2d floor window of the building onto terrace of an adjoining building. He used to be rescued with minor injuries.

Many neighbours weren't mindful concerning the accident, till they saw the fire and rescue workforce landed on the position to position down hearth.
Another witness Anbu Selvan, who runs a magazine, stated, "There are a lot of problems at the electricity board and due to this, we suffer often due to power cut and when we complain to EB office, they never turn up."
