MYSURU: In a bid to be sure that there's no leakage within the fertilizer subsidy distribution, the state agriculture department has made Aadhaar mandatory for farmers who purchase fertilizer from retail dealers. "In all the bills, Aadhaar number of the beneficiary farmer is mentioned. It turns out even the farmers do not need any problems with the brand new system. Rangappa, a farmer from the Srirampura of the town, stated with the Aadhaar number seeded with all of the paperwork, he found no downside whilst purchasing fertilizer. "I wish the subsidy amount will not be misused henceforth," he stated.
"Compared to previous years, this year there was no confusion regarding the fertilizer prices and the break-up of the subsidy amount," he stated.
