SURAT: A 29-year-old businessman from Ankleshwar was allegedly robbed of money and valuables value Rs 80,000 whilst travelling in a bus.
Manish Radadiya, the complainant, was given biscuits laced with sedatives via a co-passenger after which he misplaced awareness.
A criticism in this regard was registered in Varachha police station of town on Tuesday most effective after the victim regained awareness.
Police have booked an unidentified particular person for alleged cheating with Radadiya, a resident of Ankleshwar GIDC space.
Radadiya, who runs industry of CCTV camera, was travelling from Rajkot to Ankleshwar on Sunday when he was cheated via a co-passenger.
Police booked the accused beneath various sections of Indian Penal Code together with 328 – inflicting hurt by the use of poison, 406 – felony breach of agree with and 379 – robbery.
Radadiya had boarded a non-public bus GJ-05-Z-2170 of Shilu Travels from Green Land Cross Road on Rajkot-Ahmedabad highway on Sunday night time. He was presented biscuit via a passenger sitting next to him.
After eating the biscuit, Radadiya misplaced awareness and woke up for couple of minutes the following morning when the bus was parked at a parking space at Kuber Nagar in Varachha. He contacted his members of the family and misplaced awareness again.
Radadiya was supposed to get down at Ankleshwar but because of the effect of the drug he remained subconscious for 2 days.
