KOLKATA: A 32-year-old images enthusiast and fitness center instructor from Chakdah in Nadia has long gone lacking after leaving home for a trek to the Pir Parvati Pass in Himachal Pradesh. Partha Chandra Barik left home on May 21 and was meant to go back on June 12. His mother has lodged a lacking diary with the police and his elder brother flew again from South Africa on Monday once you have the inside track.
“I wasn’t too prepared in this expedition. He left for New Delhi through the Duronto Express on May 21 and instructed us that a pal is accompanying him. On May 22, he boarded a Chandigarh-bound bus from New Delhi and called up his elder brother in South Africa. He discussed the pal from our locality even right through this name. After that, there was no further touch with Partha. Initially, we idea that it was because of community drawback or battery problems, but we began being worried when it were given time for him to go back to the plains. We also were given in contact with authorities in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, but they could no longer trace him,” his mother Soma instructed TOIon Monday.
Barik’s elder brother managed to get the cell collection of the pal his brother discussed right through their ultimate conversation. When he called up this number, the pal stated that he was in Maharashtra. The early life admitted that he was meant to accompany Barik to Himachal Pradesh, but claimed to have changed his plans at the ultimate second.
“We discovered this early life’s behaviour suspicious. When my elder son’s pals went to his area in Chakdah, he was no longer there. His more youthful brother appeared scared and stated that he was in Kolkata. When my elder son called him up, he stated he was in Maharashtra. When my son asked him for main points of his cancelled ticket, he may no longer supply any. He isn't answering calls since then,” Soma added.
Barik was wearing a dear DSLR camera and different photographic apparatus apart from cash and identification paperwork. A senior police officer in Kullu stated not one of the trekking guides there may determine Barik from his photograph. This may mean that he never reached the purpose from the place the trek begins and employed any information. It’s a difficult route to trek and no one ventures there and not using a information.
