Man seeks PMO's help in tracing his father

AHMEDABAD: Rendered hopeless and bored with informal replies from the town police, a city-based formative years Sharad Agrawal (30) has taken to Twitter to track his aging father Maganlal Agrawal (67), who's lacking since one-and-a-half yr. Sharad, who is operating with a personal company, tweeted on Tuesday, tagging the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and the Gujarat police to help him find his father.

In an emotional attraction to the PMO on Twitter with his father’s photo hooked up, Sharad says: “please help me to find my father who's lacking since 19.12.2016 from our Vastral house ahmedabad...we leave out him badly on a regular basis...dont know where and how he is..we filed grievance at police station but as standard no updates” (sic).

Sharad, who's resident of Vrindavan Residency in Vastral, said after the tweet that he has yet not were given any reaction both from the government or from the PMO. “Yes, a few folks have shared my tweet, and I hope this widens the reach,” he added. Talking to TOI, Sharad said he has heard that govt briefly responds to complaints on Twitter. “I tweeted because I know an individual who was once able to search out his father after he tweeted,” Sharad said.


However, his primary grief stays that even after accommodation a grievance with Ramol police station a year-and-a-half again, the cops give him same answer when he approaches them. “They tell me your father has gone on his own and can come again on his own. He is just too previous and can't care for himself. They don’t understand this,” Sharad said.


Maganlal left his house on December 19, 2016, at about 12.15 pm to get his cell phone repaired. On the way in which he had even met some persons. He gave his telephone for repairs and then he went lacking. “We could not trace his movement as there have been no closed circuit tv cameras at Vastral crossroads at that time,” Sharad said. The Agrawal family, which includes Maganlal’s wife Manju and more youthful son Jeetendra, searched up to Dakor in Kheda. “We would rush any place, on every occasion we were given a tip-off. I attraction to the police division to dedicate someday to search out my father as he wishes us,” Sharad added.
