'Online' system developed for school attendance

HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Technology Services (TSTS), a state government-owned company, has evolved a unique machine wherein attendance in colleges and others will also be monitored on a real-time foundation.
As consistent with the machine, units like swiping machines are installed in colleges or offices and a four-digit Aadhar quantity and biometrics are captured, a senior reliable of TSTS advised PTI.

The units are equipped with net connectivity and as soon as the four-digit Aadhar quantity and biometrics are entered, they (units) keep up a correspondence with servers and a (authentication) reaction comes back in about not up to 4 seconds, he mentioned.

The attendance information will also be accessed on dashboards at multiple levels -- by the Head Master of the college or institution, the district-level training officer (for his house) and the Head of division in Hyderabad (across the state), he mentioned.


The dashboard is either on a PC or a pc, he mentioned.


"Real time. Every minute you will see how many have cleared the attendance... like that," he mentioned.


The machine works as consistent with set standards in the house.


It has been successfully tried previous and the training division is predicted roll out the challenge in about 10,000 colleges in the state, the reliable added.
