Patanjali won't move out of Greater Noida

LUCKNOW: A day after Swami Ramdev-owned Patanjali Ayurveda threatened to cancel its plan to arrange a food park in Greater Noida over the 'detached perspective' of UP government, the company stated on Wednesday that the matter were sophisticated via bureaucrats and now all the issues had been taken care of out.


Uttar Pradesh chief minister Aditya Nath Yogi, who spoke to Swami Ramdev and Patanjali CEO Acharya Balakrishna in a while after the latter's tweet accusing the BJP government of an "indifferent attitude" for his corporate's decision created a flutter, held a gathering with the industries department on Wednesday morning and advised that all the calls for being submit via the Patanjali Group be met.

"Swami Ramdev had wanted that a government subsidy of 150 crore for setting up a food park be given to the Patanjali Group even though the food park was to be set up by its subsidiary company which did not have any land in its name. Now, 50 acres will be transferred to the subsidiary group and the decision will be approved in the next cabinet meeting," stated an officer.


The Patanjali Group, on the other hand, denied all charges of irregularity, announcing that the matter were sophisticated via bureaucrats. "The CM has spoken directly to Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balakrishna and given them the assurance that he will do whatever is required. We trust his promise. If there was something wrong, why would the CM assure us of action," stated SK Tijarawala, spokesperson, Patanjali.
