GUWAHATI: The apex literary frame of the state, Asom Sahitya Sabha (ASS), on Tuesday introduced its year-long green march (Seuj Jatra) to mark World Environment Day. Under the golf green march initiative, the Sabha will initiate activities among students to generate consciousness on flora and fauna protection.
"Massive environmental awareness campaigns will be launched across Assam. Besides, Sahitya Sabha will bring out publications to enrich the stock of literature related to the state's nature and environment," mentioned Sabha president Paramananda Rajbongshi.
