Two women held for killing spouses

BENGALURU: The incidents are separate, but the best way they have been done would give someone the shudders. Two ladies killed their husbands in two separate circumstances — whilst one squeezed her partner’s testicles and smothered him with a pillow, any other smashed the man to death with a cricket bat.
In the first incident, Gangarathna from Yeralahalli, Chikkaballapura used to be arrested for allegedly murdering her 35-year-old husband, Sanjeevappa, by way of squeezing his testicles. It took police officers 3 months to crack the case as the wife feigned innocence.

Gangarathna suspected Sanjeevappa of infidelity and killed him on February 10. She had advised police that he used to be inebriated and had died in sleep.

Police registered a case of unnatural death and despatched the frame for postmortem. The post-mortem file suggested huge drive used to be put on his testicles and that he died of asphyxiation.

During questioning, Gangarathna, stated she squeezed his testicles even as she smothered him with a pillow. Sanjeevappa used to be inebriated and collected battle along with his wife before he used to be killed.

In the other case, a lady used to be arrested after she allegedly killed her husband with a cricket bat in Hubballi on Monday. Though police had filed a case of unnatural death, probe published his wife used to be the killer. Shivayogi Halimani, a resident of Ashwini Colony, used to be discovered dead in his space on May 2.

Police discovered Shivayogi’s nose bleeding and his wife Bharathi advised police her husband used to be inebriated and fell from the cot.

The postmortem file, on the other hand, suggested that Shivayogi used to be hit at the neck and Bharathi spilled the beans all the way through questioning.
