GURUGRAM: Over 200 other people have been booked for making a ruckus out of doors the place of business of Sohna MLA Tejpal Tanwar following a demolition power in Defence Colony, Bhondsi, on Saturday. An FIR has been registered at Bhondsi police station.


Residents accrued out of doors the MLA’s place of business round 6pm and when Tanwar came out of doors to provide an explanation for the reason for demolition power, the agitated protestors began elevating slogans against him. All the protestors, together with the ones who threatened to kill the caretaker — Sunder Bhadana, Narain, Litte, Amit and Sanju — were booked under sections 147 (rioting), 149 (illegal assembly), 342 (wrongful confinement) and 506 (legal intimidation) of the IPC at Bhondsi police station. “We are investigating into the matter and seeking to determine the accused,” said inspector Umesh Kumar, SHO of Bhondsi police station.


The MLA said the demolition power was once carried out against unlawful plotting. “I've told them in previous additionally that unlawful plotting and construction may not be tolerated and the administration has the correct to take any action against it. Their protest was once for a baseless issue,” Tanwar told TOI.
