Architects, developers and builders to go green

HYDERABAD: To lower down on energy use, get monetary savings and make an impact on the setting, architects around the town are embracing inexperienced as their new way of life.

While there may be consciousness on the importance of environmentally responsible and resource-efficient way of living, mavens consider that it is much more necessary to promote a wholesome setting, which does not disrupt the natural assets round us.

“We need environmentally responsible and resourceefficient inexperienced structures for a sustainable tomorrow. It’s time we encourage architects concerned about designing inexperienced structures,” said Akash Srivatsav, environmental activist.

“By adopting greener practices, we can take maximum benefit of environmental and financial performance,” an architect at Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) said.


In Hyderabad, the sustainable movement has accumulated tempo after the sphere began focusing on inexpensive houses for odd electorate. In the present scenario, inexpensive houses within the range of Rs 20-30 lakh are the most sought after. IGBC is pioneering the concept that since the putting in place of the first platinum-rated inexperienced construction — the CII Green Building Centre within the IT hub — in 2003 in Hyderabad. Presently, IGBC certifies over 500 inexperienced construction tasks in Hyderabad and the call for is ready to double within the coming years.


“This enlargement has been possible with the participation of all stakeholders within the inexperienced construction movement,” said Mohd Rasool, an architect.


To address this rising industry and government passion, housing companies are within the strategy of evolving norms for inexpensive houses and a specific rating system. In days to come back, maximum architects, developers and developers plan to rebuild houses and ensure inexperienced adjustments to each home and be sure that they may be able to create a sustainable lifestyle.


“By making few small adjustments one can lower down on energy usage, get monetary savings, and make a large impact on the setting,” Rassol said.
