COIMBATORE: An 81-year-old man was once killed while crossing the road at PN Pudur here on Tuesday. The sufferer owned a medical shop within the space. A dashing car rammed him and hit a bike owner who was once standing at the roadside. However, the driving force managed to flee after the incident.
The deceased was once identified as R Subbaiah of PN Pudur. He was once hit via the car near Plague Mariamman temple. Subbaiah was once thrown off the road and the driving force not able to keep watch over the vehicle again rammed a bike owner, M Subramani, 50, of Puliyakulam.
Subbaiah died at the spot and Subramani suffered serious head accidents. He was once admitted on the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH). A case has been registered against the driving force.
