VADODARA: The terminal development of the Vadodara airport has been ranked to start with place in the pageant a countrywide stage award pageant for execs on structural metal design and development held for the yr 2014-15.
The indoor stadium of the Sports Authority of Goa at Peddem Mapusa has been ranked at 2d place whilst Ishanya Exposition and Design Center at Pune has been ranked at 3rd place.
The new built-in terminal development of the Chandigarh International Airport at Mohali has bagged a certificates of commendation.
“An inspection group from INSDAG had visited our airport on May 11 and the award will likely be handed over by FICCI,” stated Vadodara airport director Charan Singh.
The Airports Authority of India, Gujarat had participated in the national stage pageant after which the group from INSDAG comprising of four IIT professors had performed an inspection on the Vadodara airport.
“The distinctive characteristic of Vadodara’s new terminal development is that its rooftop has a single metal sheet without any joints,” stated Singh, adding that the group thought to be aspects associated with design, safety and aesthetic price all through their inspection.
The aerodynamic shaped terminal development which was once inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October 2016 could also be Gujarat’s first and nation’s 2d GRIHA-rated green airport.
