DHAKA: Bangladesh poll authority on Monday deferred the date for subsequent month's basic elections by every week to December 30, a day after the country's major opposition alliance demanded to delay the polls by a month.
Last week, Bangladesh Election Commission said that the overall election might be hung on December 23.
